We come into the field of vision of cameras almost everywhere – whether we want to or do not want to. But what happens, if cameras should not want to focus on us any longer?
The Shy Camera: A surveillance camera is attached to the ceiling. It rotates slowly. Every time a visitor enters the space, the camera will turn away. In the case of no escape from shooting visitors, the video signal will be interrupted until nobody disturbs the camera´s field of vision any longer. The videosignal will be transmitted to a spatially separated monitor.
