The continuous, slow movement of a ceiling fan cuts shadows in light beams, like vocal chords transform wind into sound. The shadow provokes a seesaw change of light sources.
‘The Ambassador’ is made up of 3 self-sufficient units. Altogether they add up to a perpetual motion machine – apart from their power consumption. 2 units send signals in a reciprocal way, but they demand on the 3rd unit, in order to identify these signals. The 3rd unit adds the essential difference to the signal, which keeps the perpetual motion machine running.
